This rapidly growing niche in the accommodation sector has been driven forward by companies such as Air BnB and Booking.com with more and more people preferring the benefits of having more space than a hotel room and a home from home experience.
In simple terms, Serviced Accommodation is the offering of a property (not necessarily an apartment) to the general public to stay on a nightly basis rather than a traditional 6 or 12 month AST agreement.
The serviced accommodation needs to be fully furnished with linen, towels, cooking utensils, pots, pans, dinner sets, toiletries, TVs and WiFi. Its fair to say that its the same as a hotel but with the added benefit of more space, more privacy and the ability to cook your own meals.
